I believe nothing exemplifies dark chocolate more than a Truffle. I wanted mine to be true to the original, but sought more depth in the chocolate. I tested countless combinations searching for just the right ingredients to bring out the complexities and subtleties of the chocolate without masking its earthiness. Beautifully profound, certain simple additions make magic and add the delicate layers that allow dark chocolate to linger.

Texture is just as important. Not only texture of the chocolate in your mouth, but also to your eyes and nose. Please join me in my ode to the Truffle.
